Home sellers usually hire real estate agents to sell their homes. This is because real estate agents work cooperatively. Some agents work with buyers, while others work with sellers. This cooperation allows houses to be sold and buyers to move in. It is important to note that if you sell your home independently, you miss out on this integral piece.

In the past, buyers would visit their local real estate broker’s office to browse through a book of homes available for purchase. This book was updated once a week, and no one knew how long a property had been listed for sale unless they remembered seeing it. Homes had a for sale sign in the front yard, and buyers would drive around searching for them.

With the advent of the internet, Zillow became the go-to platform for viewing houses for sale. Many buyers rely on Zillow and similar websites to search for homes they might want. It is common for people to spend years or even decades thinking and searching for houses.

As a savvy real estate agent, I understand that if a home stands out online in a sea of hundreds of houses, more buyers will notice and be interested in buying it. By making your home stand out online, more buyers will see your property and contact me to arrange a time to view your home in person.
